If you’re a the GazettE fan and lucky enough to be in Japan right now, you can grab yourself some printed photos of the band at your nearest FamilyMart convenience store—all for an affordable penny too!
the GazettE has made its latest BLINDING HOPE-tour artist photos available nationwide across most FamilyMart stores, via the service “Famima Print” (FamilyMart Print). The selection offers two variants of group photos and a single variant of each member. An “L-size” photo will set you back 300 yen, while “2L-size” costs 500 yen. Available until December 15, 23:59.
The idea is that you can go to a FamilyMart and by using their printer—usually tucked in a corner within the store—you can select the photos you’d like to print, insert money, and a minute later, you’ll have your very own DIY photos ready.
While many people utilize FamilyMart’s printers for daily errands and prints on regular copy paper, these so-called “bromide” (ブロマイド, a Japanese term for physical artist photos) are printed on material very much what you’d expect from a regular photo.
Isn’t it neat? As a fan of Reita, I can finally print an unlimited number of photos of him without any clerk judging my life choices.
It is of course not the first time we see the GazettE offer bromide at FamilyMart. We also saw their previous artist photos from its 18th anniversary appear too.
A family channel on YouTube even documented the printing process from start to finish, so give it a watch if you haven’t tried it out yet!
