It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the dark electronic dance duo Aural Vampire, but they’re back with a new mini-album, Zombie Naocchatte, perfectly timed for spooky season! The release features three new tracks: Zombie Naocchatte, BODY-W, and Emergency Loop, plus an instrumental version of each.
Accompanying the release is a retro horror-inspired music video for the title track. Channeling ’80s VHS vibes and classic camp zombie tropes, the song reimagines the undead not as monsters to escape from, but as beings to be cured. Driving it all are masked DJ Raveman’s industrial beats and Exo-Chika’s unique vocals, Aural Vampire’s signature formula.
Since emerging in the early 2000s, Aural Vampire has carved out a cult following with their blend of dance, industrial, and club-ready electronics. Zombie Naocchatte stays true to that tradition, fusing dance-floor-ready beats with playful, genre-bending touches. Listeners may catch everything from EBM rhythms to ska-flavored samples buried within the tracks, yet the overall effect is unmistakably their own.
Zombie Naocchatte is available now on digital platforms worldwide, making it the perfect soundtrack for late-night Halloween revelry… or for anyone who prefers their dance music with a bite.
