MADARANINGEN, the fashion label created by Kyo of DIR EN GREY, sukekiyo, and Petit Brabancon, has teamed up with fashion brand IKUMI to celebrate the brands’ shared 10th anniversaries. The collaboration runs at a pop-up shop inside MAGNET by SHIBUYA109 from September 3–30, culminating in a dual runway show on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the venue’s rooftop space. The event marks MADARANINGEN’s first-ever runway show—and fans will be able to attend.
Runway show and ticket access
The runway program features two presentations: IKUMI’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, followed by the runway debut of the IKUMI×MADARANINGEN collaboration line. Access to the rooftop show is limited to customers who spend at least 5,000 JPY (tax included) at the pop-up shop during the sales period. Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and will be available up until two hours before showtime. Doors open at 17:00 JST, and the runway show starts at 17:40.
Part 1 of the collaboration features soft, unisex street wear in black and white colorways, including oversized T-shirts and long-sleeve tops, fitted tanks, and lounge pants. Each design balances comfort with a sharp, understated edge, finished with a special collaboration logo merging both brands’ aesthetics. The pieces are available in multiple sizes for a flexible fit across body types.
Part 2 of the collaboration will be unveiled at the IKUMI×MADARANINGEN SS26 COLLECTION RUNWAY SHOW on September 27, followed by an exhibition at IKUMI Harajuku beginning October 4, 2025. Further details will be announced soon.
Inside the IKUMI×MADARANINGEN pop-up
Earlier this month, JROCK NEWS viewed the collection in person at MAGNET by SHIBUYA109, on the shopping mall’s sixth floor. The comfortable, medium-weight fabrics provide versatility through the seasons, especially as we shift from late summer to early autumn. While each piece was refreshingly simple, we appreciated the clean slate it provided to dress up, dress down, or customize to make it your own.Â
For example, a standout feature was a white T-shirt worn by Kyo during a Petit Brabancon concert on September 5. Distressed with a slash at the neckline, the crisp white shirt was splattered with the vocalist’s own blood. Now a statement piece, the shirt is displayed with its oxidized blood preserved under glass.
The IKUMI×MADARANINGEN pop-up shop is located on the sixth floor of the shopping mall MAGNET by SHIBUYA109. It runs until September 30, 2025. Shop hours are 10:00–21:00 JST.
