UVERworld’s single HOURGLASS will be out on March 10 with the title track featuring as the main theme for the Brave: Gunjou movie. However, the band has also revealed the short version of the Teenage Love music video, the second track on the single.
Its music video is quite literal in its presentation with two teenagers expressing their love for each other in a multitude of ways. The simplicity is what makes it hits harder than their other music videos.
This composition blends all the elements of the band seamlessly to create a strong R’n’B track with its reverberating bassline and sharply detached piano playing. The English lyrics in the chorus are simple but effective as vocalist TAKUYA sings “So let me be your teenage love. Stupid kind a love.” and variations of that same lyric line.
