OLDCODEX 5th Album「they go, Where?」30sec SPOT

Anime rock duo, OLDCODEX, are set to release their fifth album, they go, Where? today and have released a music video preview for the title track that is equally messy as it is aggressive. Definitely another song that is bound to get the crowd riled up. This will have 11 songs in total on the regular edition including Deal with and Scribble, and Beyond while the limited has all of that but includes a DVD with the music video for title track, Where’d They Go?.

OLDCODEX 5th Album「they go, Where?」30sec SPOT

As we haven’t introduced them before, let’s do so now as this band is quite confusing and odd. OLDCODEX originally consisted of three members, vocalist Ta2 whose real name is Tatsuhisa Suzuki and is a voice actor. Playing characters like Viscount Druitt in Kuroshitsuji, Shinya Hiragi in both seasons of Owari no Seraph and more recently Noctis Lucis Caelum in Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV.

Then there was guitarist R.O.N who left in 2012 to then start STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION and painter and lyricist YORKE. Yes, you read that correctly! A painter. In a band. If you watch any one of their music videos, you will see that he does live painting in most, if not in all of them, even during live performances. The rest of the band has consisted of support members thus far.

Their music has featured in animes such as FREE!, Kuroko no Basket and God Eater and has released fourteen singles, four albums and three mini-albums.
