METAL KINGDOM is the third single from BABYMETAL’s upcoming album, THE OTHER ONE. Unlike the two previous singles, it didn’t receive a music video on the day it was released, January 20.

As we patiently waited, the music video was at last released today! Best of all, it includes footage from the recent live shows held on January 28 and 29, titled “BABYMETAL RETURNS – THE OTHER ONE –”. These were the duo’s first concerts since resuming activities last year.

The live performance of METAL KINGDOM is unlike most of their other past choreographies that fall into lively and playful, but rather, it focuses on a more sophisticated display. It is a theme that seems to recur throughout their upcoming album, based on the preview recently unveiled. The release of the single METAL KINGDOM, along with the album THE OTHER ONE, is part of BABYMETAL’s comeback activities. The comeback roadmap “THE OTHER ONE LEGEND MAP” was unveiled back in October 2022, when BABYMETAL formally announced resumption after being inactive for a year.

Besides performing domestically, BABYMETAL is scheduled to tour abroad this year as a featured guest for SABATON’s European tour.
