Yousei Teikoku recently announced its unveiling of the music video for Paradiso≒Inferno, a song from its latest album the age of villains. The video features all the trademarks fans have come to expect of Yousei Teikoku.
Feast on brilliant colors, gothic imagery, and an absolutely virtuosic performance. Singer Yui is shown in two outfits, one pure white dress, and another sanguine ensemble. The duality of which invokes the titular feel of paradise and inferno, referencing how the earth is a place that can be called “heaven”, while at the same time is hell for others.
Yui: Paradiso≒Inferno, a song about how while the current times may feel like paradise to the ordinary people, there are some who still consider it hell.
This is one of the faster and more high energy tracks of their newest album, an overall exceptional release. You can learn more about the album in our recent interview with the band. Fans old and new will definitely love this next step in the fairy empire’s campaign for complete global supremacy. While you’re at it, go on and check out the new album.
