Vocalist Hazuki of lynch. finally wrapped up promoting his solo album Souen-FUNERAL- released on September 16 with the music video for song Tamayura no Hi.
Wearing oversized clothes, Hazuki sings to the camera as smoke billows into the frame. This is all while serene visuals are overlayed with a beautiful symphony, making for a stunning and impactful final product.
Said serene visuals include water droplets on a flower, rays of light shining through the clouds, and stars moving through the night sky. It’s all very dreamy, lending itself well to the melancholic piano-led composition that complements Hazuki’s vocals, reaching grandiose levels in the string section for the chorus. Its also another music video that follows suit with its usage of black and white as PHOENIX started this trend.
Hazuki has taken us on a journey with his album Souen-FUNERAL- with live footage of entire songs from the Blu-ray. The music video for PHOENIX and previews of the album with original songs, lynch. songs, and covers from bands such as LUNA SEA, Kuroyume, and BUCK-TICK. Then there was the lengthy preview of the performance at MIELPARQUE HALL on January 19 and now this.
