Hazuki has been on absolute fire promoting his classical solo album Souen-FUNERAL- which goes out next week, on September 16. First revealing five live songs taken from the performance, there is now a trailer for that same Blu-ray.
Watch as Hazuki passionately sings songs such as lynch.’s CRYSTALIZE, THIS COMA, and PHANTOM. On the cover songs side of things, he performs classics like Kuchizuke by Kuroyume, and FOREVER & EVER by LUNA SEA. Notably, these aforementioned songs are only to be found in the Blu-ray that the limited edition offers.
Hazuki’s spectacular vocals and wonderfully classical accompaniment fill the hall while dictating the lighting. Songs such as Mizukagami by Cocco, and Tsuki no Shizuku by Kou Shibasaki, calls for an outfit change as he switches to something more traditional, a haori. Both songs with their traditional Japanese elements brings a slight change in the atmosphere.
It’s a mesmerizing watch from start to finish! More so as it concludes with a heart-wrenching rendition of lynch.’s ballad ETERNITY. The petals falling down in the form of red hearts, Hazuki close to tears, his voice breaking a little. It has all the elements of a final song as the light shines down on him.
