Hazuki, vocalist of lynch., will release a solo album Souen-FUNERAL- on September 16 in regular and limited deluxe editions. This release coincidence’s with Hazuki’s 20th anniversary year as a vocalist.

The included tracks in Souen-FUNERAL- consists of original songs, lynch. songs, and a whole host of covers which include LUNA SEA, Kuroyume, BUCK-TICK, among others. Listeners can expect the songs to have its own unique classical accompaniment as they’ve never been heard before, even including Japanese elements such as koto (Japanese harp) and shakuhachi (Japanese flute). Of course, this is all sung by Hazuki puts his own emotional take on conveying the lyrics.

The regular edition is CD-only featuring two original songs Keibetsu, and Tamayura no Hi alongside covers of lynch. songs such as D.A.R.K., and ETERNITY. There are also covers of other artist’s songs including LUNA SEA’s Ray, Kuroyume’s Shijou no Yurikago, and BUCK-TICK’s Misshitsu, and more.

The limited deluxe edition expands on this as it comes packaged with a Blu-ray of Hazuki’s live performance, albeit a different setlist and additional songs. There will also be a video recorded interview and audio commentary. Although, all of the details have yet to be finalized as of writing.

This is not the first time Hazuki has held a solo performance as back in 2018, he performed at Tokyo NEW PIER HALL on December 1.
