Kenshi Yonezu (米津玄師) presents us with a new music video for Shunrai (春雷), the eighth track on BOOTLEG which came out just last month. See the super vibrant and beautifully lit video below which reached over two million views on YouTube in the first couple of days since the release.
This album is packed to the seams with songs used for various theme songs, so let’s cover them right this moment, and they’re also available for free on Spotify. Super popular anime My Hero Academia has Peace Sign for its opening theme whilst March Comes in like a Lion takes on orion for the ending. Sand Planet originally sang by Kenshi was covered by Vocaloid Hatsune Miku for Magical Mirai 2017 theme song which gets a complete animation for it. It’s incredibly well thought out and crafted but not included on the album, so have a listen to it below:
Uchiage Hanabi (打上花火) saw a collaboration with DAOKA for school-based romance anime Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miru ka? Yoko kara Miru ka? (打ち上げ花火、下から見るか?横から見るか?) and you see the report on this in our previous post. This album version does not feature DAOKA though. Finally, hear a preview of the entire album below:
