PHALUX celebrated its one-year anniversary on September 9. The celebrations for the eccentric loud pop trio came with an otherworldy music video for the previously released single Rolling.
It seems like only yesterday that PHALUX’s debut self-titled music video immersed us into an ambitious world of creative expression. Expanding the world further, FORTUNA, the first EP released November 19, 2025, gave fans a closer look at the multitude of talents within PHALUX — featuring Kaichi’s virtuosic guitar mastery, Hikari Ichika’s warm, inviting vocals, and KG’s thunderous drumming. The drive for performance within the band is strong, performing live in Japan as well as holding YouTube streams for international followers. In 2026 PHALUX continued releasing music in the form of singles, adding to the ever-expanding discography.
Similarly to its debut, PHALUX celebrates one year by inviting fans into a new imaginative world, this time with the single Rolling providing the joy-inducing atmosphere. The utopic world bursting with pastel pinks and blues surrounds the band as the trio channels all their inner joy into performance. On top of the twinkling world, PHALUX are joined by the dance group La Flor Cielo to supply an additional burst of energy with choreography provided by vocalist Hikari Ichika. The world created in the music video is so overwhelming in bliss that guitarist Kaichi expresses his unshakable desire to live there.
Rolling is a track fans have already become accustomed to, as it released as a Christmas present on December 25, 2025. Despite the release date, the only thing festive about the track is the pure childlike joy expressed throughout. Chaotic guitar arrangements and catchy vocals mold into one to form an overwhelming explosion of fun. Rolling is a great track to introduce yourself to PHALUX, containing highlights from all members.
PHALUX’s announcement of its one-year anniversary came with a new artist photo that can be found in full below and shares striking similarities to the cover art of the single SCREAM.
