The music video for Hysteric Karen Chan is an explosion of color. The band passionately plays their instruments while illuminated by the dazzling lights. Matching the party-like anthem, Dennou Himeca is joined by an elderly couple and dances hysterically to the beat. Injected between the cheerful scenes, the band members are seen having manic episodes. Notably, vocalist Koshijiya Aoi (越路屋 葵) swings a guitar like an axe, destroying the environment around him.
The track itself follows the usual Dennou Himeca formula with an extremely fast-paced, upbeat composition. Rapid synths fill the entire track as guitarists Gaku (楽) and NAOCHI provide punchy guitar riffs. The strong groove delivered by drummer Urara (うらら) and bassist Dokuga Meno (毒牙メノ) creates an inescapable urge to dance. All the while, Koshijiya Aoi’s cute vocal tone glides through catchy melodies. The music and visuals for the new track express an outpouring of both joy and frustration in a fast-paced, chaotic way.
Hysteric Karen Chan has not yet received a digital release date, so for the time being the only way to listen to the track is alongside the ferocious party visuals.
