Following up on the announcement of the upcoming mini-album Dai Rokkan scheduled for December 15, Reol now reveals the lead track Boy through its music video directed by Kamoshita Daiki (鴨下大輝).

While the sound is a bit subdued compared to Reol’s other recent songs, it still holds the rebellious tune fans are accustomed to. That rebelliousness makes its way into the music video as she begins to topple all the mannequins within sight.

We can also see a clear leap in Reol’s stage performance as she’s much more engaged and participates in the choreography more, something that became apparent in the previous music video Byakuya (White Midnight).

In addition to the music video itself, we get a peek behind the scenes to see how the music video was created, as well as the lighthearted interactions between the cast and Reol.

The tracklist was recently unveiled too, showing off all titles of the seven tracks, including the participants involved.

The composition for Boy is by “Geek Boy Al Swettenham” who also takes the same role in the album tracks Mutant and Nd60.

Reol’s sidekick Giga is responsible for the composition of the title track Dai Rokkan (THE SIXTH SENSE), “Q?”, and Ms.Control. The two former songs are previously released singles.

As for Byakuya, that one is composed by Reol and was previously released as a single in conjunction with the game “Alchemy Stars” as its theme song. It should however be noted that Reol is co-credited as a composer for all of the songs on the album.
