Throughout the year 2021, DEXCORE released a series of digital singles consisting of Red eye, Self-Hatred, and EARTHWORM (feat. MAKITO of VICTIM OF DECEPTION). Now the band will compile these hard-hitting songs and more into its first mini-album titled “-18-“. It will hit stores on December 22 with 10 tracks, including a vocal-less version of Self-Hatred. This will also be their first physical release since bassist Kai joined back in May.
The mini-album -18- will come in both regular and “-EXTRA-” editions. The former contains 10 tracks while the latter delivers extra content and is only available for purchase via the band’s official online store. This features a 20-page booklet where the English lyrics receive Japanese translation, and a DVD containing four music videos, and a making-of video that has yet to be confirmed.
For a mini-album, -18- appears to be quite long with its 10 tracks but this was also the case for the first full album [METEMEMPSYCHOSIS.] which varied between 17 and 32 tracks depending on the edition purchased. Not that we’re complaining, because we’re quite excited about this!
