This time, we have the pleasure to learn more about Reita from the GazettE on a personal level. What his daily life is like and the small things that bring joy.
The audio clips were recorded in conjunction with the full interview where Reita expressed his never-fading passion for music, on top of the GazettE’s latest album MASS.
JROCK NEWS would like to thank club Zy. for allowing us to make these clips available to the world as they were initially only viewable for paid club Zy. members.
Don’t forget to turn on English subtitles when watching the video below!
[00:07] What are you addicted to at the moment?
Right now, although I started around a year ago, I’m really into boxing.
[00:20] Do you do it often? How many times a week?
I box around three times a week.
[00:26] Oh, that’s quite frequent!
Yeah, you could say it’s a part of my stamina training. Well, that’s my goal.
[00:38] Tell us about your daily routine.
That’d be drinking yogurt [laughs].
[00:46] Every morning?
Every morning. To put it simply, I usually make it with a yogurt starter and add milk. There’s yogurt in it, but I still definitely drink it [laughs].
[00:57] Is this for health purposes?
That’s right, yeah.
[01:07] Tell us about a personal eating record.
I like to eat crab. So around once or twice a year, or maybe just once, I get the chance to eat crab. But I love red king crab, so that’s really a feast for me [laughs].
[01:22] When you eat, that’s when you feel ultimate happiness?
That’s right.
[01:32] What makes you truly feel happy?
Ah, that’d have to be during concerts. Especially around the final stage of the concert.
At the start, I psych myself up. But as it goes on, there are some parts that I put a bit more enthusiasm into. And as I gradually compose myself to recover from that, it’s the point where I’m able to look directly into the audience with a sense of serenity. That makes me feel really happy.
