Yoshiki, drummer and co-founder of X Japan, is debuting his long-awaited Disney documentary “My Music Story: YOSHIKI” on Friday, February 5.

Late last year in 2020, Yoshiki premiered his Disney+ original documentary which at the time was unfortunately only limited to Japan. However, with the recent announcement, we finally see a U.S. premiere slated for February 5.

As previously disclosed, we can expect Yoshiki’s reimagined version of two Disney classics such as “Let It Go” from Frozen, and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King. But of course, we can also look forward to Yoshiki’s own compositions being performed.

Beyond just music performances, Yoshiki will make sure to show you around the recording process in his Hollywood studio, giving you a look behind the scenes.

Watch the original documentary in the U.S. on Disney+ starting February 5, with English subtitles provided.
