Leo Ieiri unveils a music video for her new song ANSWER, presenting the vocalist singing bright tunes under a cloudless blue sky in a white dress. In contrast, other scenes in the video show the singer in dark clothing while seemingly being troubled in an obscure room. But by the end, it looks like she found the answer she was looking for and put a closure to the darker times, ending the song with a pure smile.
As previously reported, ANSWER is the title-track of Ieiri’s first EP of the same name and acts as the opening theme for the second season of the anime MAJOR 2nd. The singer announced that the release of her EP has unfortunately been postponed to May 13 due to the COVID-19 crisis. However, the song ANSWER is now available in all major digital platforms.
In other news, NHK Anime World announced on April 25 that production of the second season of MAJOR 2nd TV anime has been postponed also due to the coronavirus outbreak. The show has already aired four episodes but the remaining ones will be announced at a later date.
MAJOR 2nd is the sequel of the baseball-themed anime series MAJOR, which follows Daigo Shigeno’s dream of becoming a professional baseball player, just like his father. Daigo is the son of Goro Shigeno, who was the main protagonist in the first installment of the series that ran from 2004 to 2010.
