UVERworld is an enormous band with a fanbase stretching beyond the borders of Japan, unfortunately, their official YouTube channel hasn’t been too welcoming of foreign visitors as it is only accessible domestically. However, as of recently, we noticed the band has also released music videos on their official website that doesn’t come with any restrictions. The most recent one being the band’s latest music video ConneQt, as well as Touch off that was revealed late last month.
Best of all, these videos are the full versions, unlike the ones on YouTube which are only 90 seconds.
We’re happy to be able to include the official music video in the article in which we find vocalist TAKUYA walk down the street of Los Angeles, where the production of the single took place. We see him set foot in the city at night as he sings along to the hip-hop beat, and a camera following and facing him, taking a more handheld approach with its shaky framing.
It also marks UVERworld’s first music video to be filmed outside of Japan so be sure to check it out!
The earlier video UVERworld brought us was the light-flooded music video for Touch off upon the single’s release on February 27. Here the band is surrounded by lights from above and behind as they perform the lively number!
