KAMIJO has finally revealed more details regarding his upcoming full album “Sang”, which is to be released on March 21! The album will be sold in three editions and is already available for preorder. The CD covers and accompanying merchandise also reveal KAMIJO’s new look for the album; featuring a stunning blue coat with gold embroidery.
KAMIJO originally announced the release of Sang back in Autumn alongside single Nosferatu, which has been released on January 16. Now, more details on what Sang is all about are finally here. While there is no official tracklist as of yet, and no audio or video previews, there definitely is a load of information revealed.
Each edition includes a special card, randomly selected out of three options—a ticket to an exclusive performance, a photo session ticket, or a coupon for a present at any live venue on the Sang tour. Unfortunately, these are not of much use outside of Japan.
The Blu-ray limited edition of Sang is priced at staggering 12,000 yen; however, it is quite a massive package of content for the price. This edition has Sang be accompanied by a bonus album, featuring nine songs with a chamber music arrangement—that is KAMIJO’s vocals, a string quartet, and a piano. The Blu-ray disc carries music videos for KAMIJO’s 2017 singles Nosferatu, mademoiselle, and Castrato. There is also a 40-page photobook, a postcard, a sticker, and a mini-poster.

Please be aware that according to KAMIJO’s website, the deadline for preorders of the Blu-ray edition of Sang is February 18.

If you order the DVD limited version, your Sang CD will be accompanied by a DVD disc carrying the music video for Nosferatu (in which Kamijo shows off his new look, as revealed in a live stream on January 30), and Story of Sang—which also has its own story booklet, included in the package.
