XANVALA released their digital single Ruru (縷々) on March 5, with the band delivering a blustery rooftop music video, combining high-octane musicianship and expressive vocals.
An explosive flurry of instruments and grandiose chanting fills the night sky during their turbulent, smoke-covered performance. The multitude of cool angles, transitions, and effects excellently frame them in the midst of a dimly lit skyline.
Situated in the middle is the fabulous-looking vocalist Tatsumi, sitting on a chair with chains connected to its legs while singing with a high-pitched vibrato. The expressive guitar playing, rapid distinct-sounding bass, and punchy drumming create an intense atmosphere, completing this brilliant unified sound.
Not only has the song Ruru been released as a digital single, but it will also feature on their second EP titled ANCHOR – EP, out on April 2. The five-track CD also features two previously released songs, Angel Drop and Beautiful. The DVD contains footage from their XANVALA TOUR 2024 “BANQUET” TOUR FINAL at Veats Shibuya.
