BAND-MAID had announced several weeks ago that they were planning to release their latest album, WORLD DOMINATION On February 14, and in order to prepare promotions for it, the band has uploaded the music video for the title track, DOMINATION, for everyone to enjoy.
The song is quite upbeat and intense, with heavy riffs and extensive use of double pedals, as any great BAND-MAID song has. Of course, Kanami’s great solos once again make an appearance. Quite possibly the greatest scene on the music video is when she plays her solo on top of a table as the rest of the members calmly sip tea.
The new album will be available in three different editions, each containing different bonuses. The limited editions come with a DVD and Blu-ray, respectively, of their recent sold out tour final at Tokyo Shinkiba Studio, from their Autumn-Winter 2017 tour. The regular edition, on the other hand, includes BAND-MAID’s cover of Honey (ハニー), their contribution to MUCC’s tribute album, as a bonus track.
It may be a bit obvious, but this album would also be the perfect gift for that special someone on Valentine’s Day. You could write “I want to dominate your heart”, or “Let’s aim for world domination together” on the card. How much more romantic can it get than that?
