Aimer with the sweet and gentle voice is releasing her 13th single on October 11, with the triple A-side single appropriately titled “ONE / Hana no Uta / Rokutosei no Yoru Magic Blue ver.”. Confusingly, it’s actually a single with four tracks included. The poor fourth track Ito is a cover song which could explain why it was neglected, but I digress. The tracklist for this release is a beast of a collection considering it being labeled just a single! It’s not only because it is a triple A-side single we call it “a beast”, but for the reason that it includes material from various areas with significance!
Starting with the third positioned song Rokutosei no Yoru Magic Blue ver.; the original version of this reminiscing song Rokutosei no Yoru is in fact included in Aimer’s debut single, although, this time enchanted with some “magic” as indicated by the rebranded track name. Below is the live version of the song, unfortunately, only viewable for residents of Japan.
Hana no Uta, the second track in the single, is a song to join the theatrical release of the Fate/stay night Movie: Heaven’s Feel – I. Presage Flower, from the super popular series Fate. She’s previously performed the opening theme song Brave Shine for the second season of Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, where her song LAST STARDUST was also featured in, used in the 20th episode as an insert song.
As of now, we do not have a preview for this song, but take a look at the trailer for the movie in which Hana no Uta will be featured in to get a sense of what theme it might accommodate itself to.

The fourth song called Ito—not listed in the title of the single—was featured in Toyota Home’s commercial back in April earlier this year. The song is a cover of Miyuki Nakajima’s original work. For even more details on that, take a look at our recent coverage on it.
Last but not least, the very first track ONE is the only track without any known associations (to date), so let’s wait and see what surprise Aimer will bring us with this new song!
ONE / Hana no Uta / Rokutosei no Yoru comes in four variations, regular edition, limited edition, limited anime edition, and also a special limited fan club edition. The fan club edition mainly differentiates itself in its artwork compared to the regular edition, of course only available for fan club members.
