In a surprising event, T.M.Revolution displays a new music video “Ai wo Chodai” (Give Me the Love), and single release, in collaboration with the Korean girl group AOA (Ace Of Angels). Expect this release to hit the shelves April 20!
The emerging collaboration Ai wo Chodai, a collaboration between the Korean girl group AOA, is releasing through Universal Studio Japan. Meaning that the release is actually sung in Japanese, although, the single is labeled as an AOA single featuring T.M.Revolution. This is actually AOA’s fourth Japanese single release, after previously also releasing the selftitled album in 2015, reaching number one in Billboard’s Japanese Top Albums-chart. It might be worth noting that this is a collaboration between the main unit “AOA”, in case you’ve been in touch with the sub-divisions of AOA (AOA Black, White, and Cream), which consist of the same members but broken up into smaller units.
T.M.Revolution, or Nishikawa Takanori, is of course the legendary singer and actor from Japan who has made its name into every anime fan’s heart. You may recognize his work from Rurouni Kenshin, Gundam, Bleach etc. Or even as frontman from the early visual kei band Luis-Mary, as vocalist “Haine”. Back in 2009, he and his three band mates made an impact on the European crowd, where they underwent a Europe tour under the name abingdon boys school.
Additionally, we also covered how T.M.Revolution became one of the faces of the deodorant company Shoshu Riki (消臭力), essentially making himself a part of the Japanese meme that went viral around 2011.
Ai wo Chodai comes in 11 editions, one regular and 10 limited editions. Six of them being AOA member editions that includes a random selected photo card, and the selected member’s photo as CD print.
