The trio who recently made their major debut announcement has revealed the full music video of the main track avocado (アボカド), featured on their upcoming album “Coming Spring” which is due to hit stores on August 19.
My first impression that came to mind after listening to avocado was “the guitar is really boring,” and that didn’t change even after taking a few more listens. Luckily, this is partly covered up with somewhat lively drums and bass, at least to keep me entertained throughout the entire song. I am however actually fond of vocalist Arisa Ushimaru’s voice, as to my best can be described to having a slightly nasal but sweet and melancholy tune.
I might be a bit too early with the criticism so I’ll be holding back until I get the chance to listen to the entire album!
