JROCK NEWS’ concert event “PULSE” is back and bringing the heat once again this summer! Whether you live in Japan or overseas, you can join us for our live concert event, “JROCK NEWS presents PULSE vol. 2 -11th Anniversary-“.

Featuring a lineup of five heavy-hitting bands, including headliner ACME, this event spotlights Japan’s vibrant heavy music scene. We’ll be coming at you live on Sunday, August 23, at Shinjuku ANTIKNOCK and will be available to stream worldwide.

For our international readers, you can tune in to this special event too! The concert will be available to livestream via TwitCasting and available on-demand until August 30 at 23:59 JST, so you can enjoy the show at your own pace.

Extreme metal band PARAMENA brings more strings to the table than your body has room for. Combining elements from a wide range of metal styles, we hope you’ll enjoy their unique brand of technical wizardry that took them all the way to Wacken in 2024!

We’re pleased to welcome BABYBEARD in this adorable assault on the senses! Consisting of vocalist Ladybeard and company, this trio will be hitting the stage at PULSE for what is sure to be a set full of crazy good fun. Get ready to dance along, and catch them before they head to Europe in October with German metalcore band Samurai Pizza Cats.

Japan’s most insanely angry band will be turning up the heat with their blistering metalcore sound and monster vocals. Get ready to circle pit, sing, and release your rage!
