The djent band PARAMENA, whose aim is “defining a new standard of djent”, has unveiled a formidable new support lineup following its May 17 solo show, which marked the final performance for former guitarist Saya and bassist Fuuta. Joining the band’s upcoming activities are support guitarist Yosei (Crisis Slave), who will handle 7- and 8-string guitars, and 6-string bassist Taiyo (HAILROSE). Together, the new lineup brings a staggering total of 30 strings to the stage.
Additionally, PARAMENA has announced a second full-length album is in the works, due in late 2026. This release will introduce a new conceptual direction, “Structure Metal”, which is set to expand their sonic palette even further. The album promises to deliver the band’s signature heavy low tunings, complex rhythms, and eerie atmosphere, while blending elements of death metal, nu-metal, mathcore, industrial, and ambient textures for a distinct experience from track to track.
