On February 12, Madmans Espirit showcased a haunting grayscale music video for Dandelion. Featured on the upcoming album, Dandelion; Danzetsu, the new single reinforces Madmans Espirit’s self-attributed label “depressive suicidal blackened pop”.
After finishing a three-week tour across Europe titled Severed hopes / Shattered innocence, Madmans Espirit shared another single from the upcoming album Dandelion; Danzetsu. The title track, Dandelion, is a 10-minute emotional track that evolves greatly from beginning to end.
Filmed in a grainy grayscale quality, the creepy visuals are evocative of old-school horror films. The opening image alone sends chills down your spine with five ghostly figures surrounding vocalist Kyuho in a pentagram pattern. Body horror, creepy unnamed figures, and scenes of band members in distress only emphasize the chilling musical arrangement. Subtitles are included with the haunting music video to follow along with Kyuho’s heartfelt lyrics.
Dandelion is the final track of the upcoming album Dandelion; Danzetsu, releasing at a later date in 2026. Also featured on the album is the previously released single, Please Stop Loving Me, a fast-tempo catchy song with the theme of worshiping false idols.
