BLAZE has brought to light that their first single, titled Luminous, is set to release on November 26. However, the title track is out now digitally.
Despite the date for the single being a while out, the band has revealed the music video for the title track, bringing forth sparkling synths and stacked shouts, all of which is set to their performance in a church.
Blueish red hues fill the screen, creating a hazy, dream-like scenery, and alongside film grain, the effect lends itself to a gritty aesthetic. It also looks as if an old-school 3D effect is used slightly, carving out an unnerving but cool identity for the music video.
Impassioned shouts and snarly growls overlap with vocalist Mio’s clean and sometimes high-pitched singing. The song even goes as far as the other band members joining in with the shouts, adding another dimension to the mix. The intense emotion that overflows from both the song and music video is immeasurable, capturing the atmosphere wonderfully.
BLAZE has also revealed artist photos appearing with blue and black outfits, making the band members stand out amongst the blue hues in the music video.
