Coachella is set to make a return to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA, spanning two weekends from April 12-14 and April 19-21. Within the extensive lineup, we spotted the notable Japanese acts, Hatsune Miku, YOASOBI, and “ATARASHII GAKKO!” who will be part of this year’s performers!

Hatsune Miku’s inclusion might feel like déjà vu, as it technically the virtual diva’s second time appearing on the lineup. Although, her first participation was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to Coachella’s rescheduling and eventual calling it off.

YOASOBI and “ATARASHII GAKKO!” are highly popular Japanese acts. YOASOBI is well-known for anime music, such as the song Idol in anime Oshi no Ko, but also beyond.

“ATARASHII GAKKO!” is a whirlwind quartet known for their incredible energy and positivity! If you haven’t already, check out our recent interview with the group where the members answered some of our burning questions about touring overseas and their treasured memories.

It will be interesting to see how all the three acts will be received at Coachella, considered the unique trait each act has to offer.

The Coachella festival takes place over two consecutive weekends, with each weekend divided into Friday, Saturday, and Sunday performances. This means each artist will be performing twice over on their respective assigned day.

Weekend passes are already readily available on Coachella’s website. YouTube will be an exclusive livestream partner for both weekends.
