Masked rap-rockers of MAN WITH A MISSION team up with singer-songwriter milet to kickstart season three of the anime Demon Slayer with the fresh opening theme Kizuna no Kiseki. Translating to “Miracles of Our Bond”, the tune takes a turn away from the jazzy mystique of the previous opener Zankyosanka by Aimer. Its anthemic beats rather capture the hero Tanjiro’s spirited optimism as he embarks on a search for a powerful demon-banishing katana.
Kizuna no Kiseki was revealed with the release of the latest Demon Slayer episode in theaters across Japan on February 3. The nearly two-hour theatrical cut segues the climactic finale from the previous Entertainment District arc into the first episode of the subsequent To the Swordsmith Village arc.
Regarding the collaboration, guitarist-vocalist Jean-Ken Johnny of MAN WITH A MISSION states:
It’s such an honor to take on the opening theme for this gem of an epic alongside the diva of our generation, milet. We hope you enjoy this miraculous tale of different lives crossing paths, interweaving, and forging a bond, together with our song.

Advance screening of Demon Slayer: To the Swordsmith Village continues onward to the US, France, Germany, Mexico, Korea, and Taiwan. The “World Tour” will also include a special premiere in Los Angeles on February 18, with appearances by voice actor Natsuki Hanae, producer Yuma Takahashi, and Aimer. Movie theaters in over 80 countries will then roll out the theatrical cut in March, with Fuji TV in Japan and streaming platforms finally airing the first new episode in April.
Although the release date for Kizuna no Kiseki has not been confirmed, fans of both MAN WITH A MISSION and milet can hear them partner on a previous B-side Reiwa, a soft, uplifting ballad about the dawning of a new era. The emotional pairing can be found on the 2019 single Dark Crow, which was featured as the opening theme for the anime Vinland Saga.
2023 looks to be rife with activities from both artists, as MAN WITH A MISSION will perform at WOKE UP FEST in Jakarta, Indonesia on February 25 and milet at Nippon Budokan on May 20 and 21.
