The action and gore anime Chainsaw Man is a series that interestingly features a different ending theme song for each episode. With episode 8 released last week, the appearance of TK from Ling tosite sigure’s song, first death, could finally be experienced. The song could a day later, on November 30, be picked up as a digital single. Although the full physical CD release won’t be available until December 21.
With the song first death being extremely erratic, it gives off a psychotic and intense energy that is well-fitting to the anime’s setting. When ending on such a high note, how could you not want to watch the next episode?
Fast-forward to today, we now have the music video for the song, and we can experience it anew, but in an even flashier way—literally! The seizure-triggering video brings forth an eccentric performance in all the best ways, keeping TK in motion at all times.
In our last coverage, we shared the words that TK used to describe first death.
The blood that oozes from the story and the drawings has made me a permanent and perfect organ.
I pick up the chainsaw that resides within me and dedicate all my killing power to this work.
Is the Nobel Prize mine?
