Visual metal core band ACME will release a full album for the first time in three years. New album Resisted temptation will be released on November 23, 2022. The album will be released digitally, but physical CDs will be available on their next domestic tour, which kicks off in Sendai on November 19.
The album includes 10 of ACME’s most recent singles, digitally remastered, as well as one brand-new track, Resisted temptation.
In 2022, ACME completed their fifth U.S. tour with three out of seven performances sold out. (Check out our interview with ACME after the New York show here!) After being welcomed with open arms abroad, it seems fitting that the band would go on to release their first new album in three years.
The announcement came the same day as their ACME YouTube Live event “Helloween Special”. In the spirit of Halloween, each member cosplayed an anime character. Bassist RIKITO dressed up as Undertaker from Soul Eater, drummer HAL came as Kyojuro Rengoku from Demon Slayer, vocalist CHISA was Giorno Giovanna from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and last but not least, guitarist SHOGO went undercover as Loid Forger from SPY x FAMILY.
