Vocalist HAZUKI will release his first solo album titled EGØIST on August 31. Album EGØIST includes previously released songs such as XANADU, HEROIN(E), AM I A LØSER?, and +ULTRA. To pique interest further, HAZUKI’s mesmerizing music video for the fourth track Shichiseki no Rai is out now.

HAZUKI, band mates, and dancers perform on temple grounds as sparkling sound effects, bass slaps, claps, and flickering lights fill the air. It’s an absolutely delightful watch that brings a thrilling sensation!

From start to finish, Shichiseki no Rai screams old-school Japanese pop music, from the sound of the bright claps to the superb keyboard solo at the end. The danceable, catchy, and distinct chorus with its underlying growls also brings out the song’s powerful emotion. There’s also group vocals that have become a motif in HAZUKI’s songs, bringing a sense of togetherness and an uplifting energy.

Album EGØIST releases in regular and limited editions with the former featuring all 13 tracks. The latter has 13 tracks, and a Blu-ray disc containing the music video for Shichiseki no Rai. The Blu-ray also includes footage from his HAZUKI’s TOUR’22 “AM I A LØSER?” Ebisu LIQUIDROOM performance on June 15.
