Experimental band sukekiyo continues to surpass the boundaries of art and rock, blurring where illustration, music, and lifestyle intersect.
This time the band tests the concept of a traditional single, compiling it with original artwork, music from previous demo tapes, lifestyle goods, and video. While AMOR could be classified as a single, or as the band calls it, an “audio and video compilation”, it more closely resembles a collectible work of art.
sukekiyo announced their next audio and video compilation AMOR will be released in early October 2022. As with previous releases, AMOR features exclusive artwork by an independent artist, this time highlighting digital illustrator HIRO.
The release is limited to Galaxy Broad Shop mail orders and comes in two editions: limited edition and limited luxury edition. The limited edition includes a CD with three tracks: scarlet, Yumemidoro (夢見ドロ), and Mosaic shoujo (モザイク少女). Yumemidoro was previously released as a demo tape, while the other two tracks are new.
In addition to the CD, both versions include a Blu-ray disc with the music video for Mosaic shoujo and a selection of live concert clips.
The limited luxury edition adds a collectible ceramic plate featuring AMOR‘s cover art, an illustration by artist HIRO. The illustration was inspired by the new music to be included in AMOR.

sukekiyo also debuted a new look for AMOR. In this glowing monochrome shot, we see vocalist Kyo front and center modeling designs from his own fashion line, Madara Ningen. The pieces he models are a collaboration project between himself and artist Suehiro Maruo.
Starting August 7, the band embarks on a Japanese domestic tour Ugomeku, Kubittake.
