On July 6, coldrain released their seventh studio album Nonnegative. The band marked the album’s arrival with a black and white music video for its third track, Cut Me. Cut Me cuts deep with its high-ringing guitar and deep rumbling drums, delivering an all-around doom-laden experience.

The music video pairs black and white with warped, glitchy, and flickering visuals. The handheld camerawork heightens the aesthetic, providing a sense of velocity.

Leading up to Nonnegative‘s release, the band revealed several music videos from the album. The album’s fourth track Before I Go features a firework-centric music video. Then there is the fifth track Bloody Power Fame which is the opening theme for the anime Bastard!!. They also released music videos for the eighth track Paradise (Kill The Silence) and the second track CALLING.

Last but not least, coldrain revealed a new artist photo. Here, we see the band standing in front of a hovering 3D version of Nonnegative‘s artwork.
