The extreme sports event X Games Chiba 2022 selects MAN WITH A MISSION’s song “Tonight, Tonight” as its theme song. This is the first X Games event ever in Japan and it’s scheduled for April 22 thru 24 in Chiba. The unreleased MAN WITH A MISSION song is the first track from their upcoming album, Break and Cross the Walls II.

Suitably, the band will perform at the X Games in Chiba on Saturday, April 23. As an avid skateboarder and snowboarder, lead vocalist Tokyo Tanaka seems to be really excited about the event and shares:

X Games is being held in Japan—it’s really exciting. It’s an event I’ve been longing for and we’re playing live, I can’t help but get excited! At the world’s top action sports festival, we are all together. “Moriagarimasho!! Let’s get excited!!”

ANNOUNCING: X Games Chiba 2022

MAN WITH A MISSION has been a hit-maker in Japan for over a decade and Break and Cross the Walls II looks to continue that trend. Furthermore, the new album is the follow-up to last year’s release similarly titled, Break and Cross the Walls I. The new CD is available on May 25 from CDJapan and internationally via JPU Records.

The X Games are an extreme sports event founded in 1994 and serve as a festival of music and art too. It has featured world-famous musicians such as Metallica, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Wu-Tang Clan, The Chainsmokers, and others. Yet, the annual event is known for making extreme sports athletes famous such as skateboarder Tony Hawk and snowboarder Shaun White.
