Kizu’s 10th single Strawberry Blue was released on December 8. To greet its arrival, the band revealed the title track’s music video showcasing the unsettling-sounding ballad where vocalist LiME hoarsely whispers the lyrics. The unsettling ballad also brings a lingering sense of death as suicide, strangling, stabbing, substance abuse occurs between scenes.
Each member of the band performs their section of the song on distinct sets. We have guitarist reiki in a pink-colored bedroom as a man strangles a woman on the bed. But also drummer Kyonosuke is surrounded by needles while overseeing a dazed man and a woman.
Strawberry Blue hit stores in types A and B with the differences coming from the different second tracks depending on the type purchased. On type A, the second track is Tsumi while on type B, this track is Anagura.
Kizu also revealed the artist photos for single Strawberry Blue which is their most distinct look to date. With things like LiME braids and shaved hair, or as a whole, the members’ interesting multicolor outfits that complement their makeup.
