We’re closing in on August 25, which is the release date of Arlequin’s simultaneous release of singles “Sekai no Owari to Yoake Mae” and “Siren“. About a week before the big reveal, the band decided to unveiled a preview for all of the songs, giving us a more complete picture of what is to come.
Notably, we get a glimpse of the song Lightning, which is exclusively sold with the “complete edition” that serves both singles in one single package. With all of the newly discovered material, this makes for an exhilarating and intense set of songs and will no doubt keep you entertained throughout its duration.
When walking through the preview—while ignoring the two already unveiled title tracks—there’s quite a lot new to discover.
Beginning with Te no Naru Kata, this is definitely the kind of song that you’ll be jumping up and down to while clapping your hands.
In Bigaku, we hear vocalist Aki go into one of his monologues and seems to be the heaviest and darker song of them all.
Lastly, we have Lightning that follows in similar footsteps to Siren with its heaviness and digitized vocals.
Now that we’ve finally got a preview of all of the songs, what do you think? I personally find the songs very enticing, and it’s interesting the way they’re releasing these singles with the “complete edition”. It plays around with the release formula a little and I can already tell I’m going to like this a lot.
