Taken from Kizu’s best-of album, the new song Milk delivers a bloody, messy, and imprisoned vocalist, LiME, with “ANOTHER Ver.” alternative music video.

Kizu released their best-of album Kataki on April 7. The regular edition features the new song, Milk, while the limited edition adds an additional disc featuring a second new song, Hato—amongst other things.

Specifically, for a limited time, only those who purchased both the regular and limited edition were able to apply for a set-purchase privilege. This came in the form of receiving exclusive music videos for both the new songs, Milk and Hato.

However, what’s transpired recently is Kizu abruptly revealing “ANOTHER version” of the music video for Milk to the public through their YouTube channel. A version that sees disheveled and handcuffed vocalist LiME in a prison visitor booth becoming increasingly more animated and bloodier as the video goes on.

The music video titled Milk (ANOTHER Ver.) features CGI of a destroyed building with smoke billowing from every direction. It then cuts to a static camera with VHS camcorder-like visuals, a smaller screen ratio, and LiME, who by the end of it, has smeared blood all over the once transparent screen separating him and the camera. This is opposed to the initial previewed version of the eerily beautiful music video for Milk that has the band performing the song.

LiME sneakily hinted at the creation of this alternate music video as far back as April with an uncaptioned Instagram post.

For those who didn’t get the chance to purchase Kataki before it sold out, they now get to hear Milk in its entirety—which alongside the intense jazzier sections, features calmer parts.
