World-renowned “Samurai Guitarist” MIYAVI announced he will return to North America on a tour spanning 19 cities and two countries. The whirlwind tour kicks off in Calgary on September 30 and ends in Atlanta on Halloween Night, at a venue fittingly called “Masquerade”. Tickets go on sale on June 11 at 10:00 (MDT) and will be available through MIYAVI’s official site.
In addition to General Admission, VIP package tickets will be available. The VIP package includes early entry to the venue, a chance to meet MIYAVI himself and snap a photo with him, and a collectible gift! Keep in mind, this will be subject to COVID-19 protocols in the venue or state on the day of the show.

The tour is MIYAVI’s first in North America since 2019 and will feature performances off last year’s album Holy Nights. It will be a homecoming for the musician, who resides part-time in Los Angeles and Tokyo but has been stationed in Japan since the pandemic.
The artist shared his thoughts in this touching message on Twitter:
Finally. Been needing LIVE MUSIC. To feel alive. I know the situation keeps changing and we can not see the future 100% clear yet, but I believe that it’s worth it to at least try making a path. Simply, can’t wait. To feel you, to feel alive. See you in your city. Love. M
The message is relatable since we have all been itching for a sense of normalcy. To many of us, live concerts seem like a far-off memory. We’re excited to feel “alive” again with MIYAVI!
Update 2021-07-13: An additional show was added for October 19, at Cobra Lounge in Chicago.
