DARRELL brings back the good old times with a compilation of DEATHGAZE cover songs, escorting the band’s fifth single BRILLIANT DEATH. The release will see the light on July 7 in celebration of their third anniversary.

BRILLIANT DEATH is comprised of two discs in a single package. The first one includes the new songs, the title track itself, and TOO LATE TO CRY, while the second disc comes with DEATHGAZE covers spanning from 2004 up to the album CREATURE from 2012. Expect classic songs such as BLOOD, Sorrow, and Evoke the world.

DARRELL is a band formed by vocalist AI who also is a part of DEATHGAZE. While DEATHGAZE isn’t active anymore, it was never officially disbanded and has been in a state of indefinite hiatus since late 2014. The band members went separate ways with drummer Naoki starting the band dexcore but recently stepped away to form another band. Bassist Kousuke joined Unveil Raze, but they are currently on hiatus. Guitarist Takaki’s band Orcalade has unfortunately also not shown any new sign of activity.
