Survive Said The Prophet initially announced the release of their fifth album Inside Your Head out on January 15, 2020, in regular and limited editions featuring cover art by guitarist Ivan. Now the band has finalized the details for the album which includes Mukanjyo, the opening theme song for the praised anime Vinland Saga.
The regular edition of album Inside Your Head comes with 12 songs in total, including singles Mukanjyo, and RED alongside venue-limited singles Closure, Common Sense, and Things Unsaid. It delivers a rearranged and rerecorded version of Never; Saying Never for this album, with vocals provided by Rei from Newspeak, who participated as a guest vocalist during their national tour “Now more than ever”.
Mix engineer Erik Ron who has worked with the likes of “Panic! At the Disco” and “Set It Off” is responsible for this record. It doesn’t end there though as Sawano Hiroyuki worked on the strings and piano arrangement for song 3 a.m.
The limited-edition comes packaged with a DVD of their s p a c e [ s ] TOUR 2019 at Mynavi BLITZ AKASAKA 2019.2.3 performance with a total of 12 song performances. You can watch a clip of each song from that same performance in the video below!
