As promised by L’Arc-en-Ciel, the important news which they referred to last week has finally been unveiled! For the first time in history, L’Arc-en-Ciel has made 487 of its songs available on major streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon and more. While the announcement referred these as 487 songs, 436 of these are streamable audio tracks while 51 are music videos.
The large number of songs encompass album DUNE released in 1993 up to the LIVE ALBUM “25th L’Anniversary LIVE” from 2018. On the music video side of things, this is the band’s entire music video library.
Make sure to also keep an eye on their newly launched YouTube channel, because the band will release a live video every day via YouTube Premieres starting on December 12, midnight, to December 17, with the theme “YouTube Seven Days 2019”. This being a homage to the seven-day concert Shibuya Seven days 2003 that was held in Shibuya, the year 2013. Fans all over the world can take this opportunity to enjoy this legendary band’s music simultaneously while talking to other fans in the YouTube chat.
Moreover, following the theme “L’Arc-en-Ciel Selected 10”, the band has released 10 music videos for free on YouTube, including X X X, Don’t be Afraid, DRINK IT DOWN, Niji, STAY AWAY, HONEY, Kasou, Driver’s High, and Shinshoku -Lose Control-.
With all this, the band hopes more people abroad will be able to enjoy their music, and of course, to also expand to a larger audience worldwide.
