Explore the naughty side of Reol in “Utena” music video

Reol has revealed her new naughty music video, Utena, taken from the upcoming work Bunmei EP. Utena is one of the four new tracks that will become available with the EP on March 20, in which Reol worked together with Giga to produce. The full tracklist is now also revealed, along with the artwork that was recently unveiled.

The influences from Giga is strong within this one, offering a heavy load of synthesizers and punchy beats. The music style resembles less of the sound we first encountered when Reol restarted her solo-career—a melancholic rock sound—but more of the characteristics found during her time in the unit “REOL”.

Visually, the bondage-like outfit is surprisingly not a new peculiarity for fans who have seen Reol’s first public music video appearance, it is very similar to what we’ve seen in Give me a break Stop now, although, less PG perhaps? While the theme of this one is indeed more lascivious compared to earlier work, what stands out the most, however, is still Reol’s tough and strong attitude!
