ONE OK ROCK returns with their first full album in two years, Eye of the Storm. This will be their third album to be released in the US (but ninth overall). The band just released a music video for the leading single Stand Out Fit In. This gives us an insight into how a young Asian boy’s life drastically changes due to the way he stands out, the way he looks, the things he eats. Later reaching to the point where the bullied becomes the bully as he grows older. With an inspiring song such as this one, ONE OK ROCK conveys the message to stand tall and proud of who you are and don’t give in to peer pressure.
Along with the song Stand Out Fit In, in the upcoming album you will find the previous single Change as the seventh track, while tenth track In the Stars will feature vocals by American singer Kiiara, known for her collaboration in Linkin Park’s song Heavy.
The album will be available in an English version worldwide (excluding Japan) on February 15 through “Fueled by Ramen”, and a Japanese version on February 13 via A-Sketch that will be sold in Japan only. The main difference comes down to the twelfth track being Unforgettable in the former, and Can’t Wait in the latter version. First press limited editions in Japan will also come with a DVD containing acoustic performances.
