GACKT stars in scenic island film “Karanukan”

Directed by Yasuhiro Hamano, Karanukan (カーラヌカン) starring GACKT as the lead character will be in theatres from March 10, 2018 at Shibuya HUMAX Cinema and other nationwide cinemas in Japan. The trailer shows GACKT as a professional photographer who is assigned to the beautiful Yaeyama Islands to photoshoot models against the scenic backdrops. It’s a love story, and the title Karanukan comes from the word “god of the river”, Kara meaning “river” and kan comes from “god”. It’ll be interesting as he’s not lead any films since MOON CHILD with HYDE.
