mafumafu just released an extensive preview of his long-awaited original album Ashitairo World End, just a few day before we hit October 18—the release day!
The preview runs through all 16 tracks included on the album and gives us a good enough idea of what the album will offer—the best qualities of mafumafu. That is, a great deal of the typical catchy and energetic pop-rock sound mafumafu usually offers, and of course, his remarkable high notes!
More than that, there is an inclusion of a few mellow songs like the seventh track, Futari botchi, which incorporates the traditional Japanese sound like many of his songs; and the very last track of the album, Shuuten (translates to “Endpoint”), with its emphasis on the powerful and emotional sound, I’m really looking forward listening to that one. Not to forget to mention mafumafu’s insertion of some playful and high-paced songs—that totally reflects his jaunty personality—like Super nuko ni naritai, meaning “I want to become a super cat”.
It’s been less than a day since the upload of the preview, and yet the view count already accumulated a six-digit number, at a little more than 100 thousand views as of writing! To see why people are so hyped up for this album, have a listen to the album preview below.
Some of the songs featured in the album preview have already been released on YouTube, here are a few of them.
Opening track: Rinne tensei.
Sixth track: Yume no mata yume.
Ninth track: Batsu game.
Fourteenth track: Super nuko ni naritai.
Third track: Tachiiri kinshi.
