Very excited to hear that a new single will be out for Plastic Tree’s 20th anniversary titled Uchu Yuei (雨中遊泳) meaning “swimming in the rain” to be out on June 12. They have released the music video for this which you can take a sneaky look at below. As usual, Plastic Tree has shot something tastefully interesting for their concept, having the band stand in a knee-deep pool of water as they are showered with rain as they perform their new song.
This is their 40th release and will be available in four different versions. It’s been five months since they have released Nenriki (念力) which took on an unusual energetic stance, so this new song is a step back towards their usual personality we often relate to as a classic Plastic Tree sound.
