Intriguing steam holograms and light effects for androp’s “Prism”

Strumming and tapping your heart-strings one at a time, we can sense androp channeling their emotion once again into their latest music video, Prism. androp videos are often full of interesting visual effects using shadow play and projections, and this one is no different. Using a setup of transparent blocks injected full of steam, the projected blue tinted holograms of the band members play. These steam prisons are perched on top of white plinths, whilst white paper sculptures of buildings crowd the foreground.

The earnest vocals of Uchisawa Takahito lifts the soul like a a summer breeze, and it’s no wonder BGM is second on this single; it has been used for the film Kimi to 100 Kaime no Koi, (君と100回目の恋). This romance story follows a university student named Aoi Hinata who has an accident, only to find herself in a classroom from one week before the accident when she awakes. Her childhood friend, Riku Hasegawa, tells her, “I will tell you a secret. I can turn back time…” and so their journey to save her commences. Check out the sweet trailer for this below:
